Question about request: Audio and/or video of shooting of Siale Angilau in U.S. District Court
Asked by Ben Winslow on May 1, 2014.
1 answer from Michael Morisy.
Hey Ben,
So for an administrative appeal, I would focus on a couple of arguments:
-
That a blanket denial is probably excessive, and that the material should actually be reviewed since this (presumably?) occurred as part of an open court hearing.
-
That this material was generated in a public setting, and that there are already numerous witnesses, so it is not disclosing previously secret law enforcement techniques.
I think an administrative appeal has a good shot.
