From what I have read, the process of asking the Hawaii Freedom of Information Processes for answers to my questions is an exercise in futility. Kauai has an attitude history of disregarding the law in the belief that they can “out spend” legal chanllenges from the public. It is all politics. I have weighed the pros and cons of progressing to the next level in reference to the answers to my questions and the files to be produced, I see no benefit because their files would only be a reproduction of what I already possess except for two things. 1. an un redacted version of the incarcerated persons initial confession/statement and his formally signed acknowledgement of his constitutional rights. The only question that is important to me at this point is “who did the redaction?” This person(s) are involved in a “cover up”. Please advise.
