Obtaining class C misdemeanor crime statistics breakdown

Hi, So I’m looking to find how many class C misdemeanors in a particular county in Texas have been assigned officers and the breakdown of such assignments by department (i.e. drug paraphernalia vs. disturbance of the peace, etc.). Where do I start? Thanks!

That’s going to be a hard request. The public records law in Texas only applies to documents that exist, and it is highly unlikely that the document you are describing exists. You could try to look for assignment sheets, an index of police reports, or charge sheets, but it’s going to be a lot of documents in order to get the data you want.
