The Michigan State Police seems to be requiring excessive fees on each request I send them. Is there some strategy I should follow to avoid these or limit these. Every request has fees of hundreds of dollars. Just the three requests I’ve sent so far would cost more than $1000 and they seem to be of information the department should readily have available.
