Trying to find out if members of certain federal agencies are posing as Uber drivers to conduct stake outs and what the scope of the cooperation between Uber and each agency is if so. Getting responses that these requests are too broad. Any advice to narrow them down? I’d like to see any communication between Uber and ICE but also to know if there are any official procedures (as outlined in manuals, training materials, etc.) officers are supposed to follow while conducting the impersonations.

Thoughts?

ICE is a huge organization and it’s unlikely they’ll grant a request for communications unless you use a specific identifier. A better way to find out if there is any formal agreement is to request MOAs and invoices.

Sorry what’s an MOA?

Jack R-W

Sorry, MOU. Memorandum of understanding.

thanks!

Got no responsive documents for MOU but willing to try another approach if anyone has one…
