If we have no idea what document would contain the information I want to request how do I go about filling a FOIA?

To be more specific I’m looking for a list of doctors who are participating in a Limited Access Program LAP for a particular drug.

Some brainstorming suggestions:

1) I use the Judicial Watch FOIA Handbook as my baseline reference: http://www.judicialwatch.org/document-archive/foiahandbook/ 2) It seems your likely FOIA target would be the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) 3) Conduct a Google search on the topic and look for people, business processes and technologies involved in what you’re looking for. Sometimes you’ll find direct hits on the types of documents you’re looking for. If not, try to imagine what types of documents the Government would need to create to run the business process you’re interested in.
