Release Notes: Centralized documentation and a new Python wrapper for the MuckRock API

In these release notes, we’ve consolidated all of our documentation into one central location at help.muckrock.com for easier access. Other key updates include the release of a Python wrapper for the new MuckRock API and an update to the Python wrapper for DocumentCloud.

Documentation

All documentation across our services has been consolidated into one location: http://help.muckrock.com/. This centralizes our help pages and makes it easier for editing and publishing updates.

MuckRock

The new version of the MuckRock API, version 2, now has a Python wrapper, python-muckrock, which allows you to interact with the new API. Documentation for the new wrapper is also available.

DocumentCloud

The latest release of the python-documentcloud package, version 4.4.0, incorporates a new authentication library. The python-documentcloud package allows you to more readily interact with the DocumentCloud API using the Python programming language. Additionally, version 4.4.0 drops support for Python 3.7.
