To Whom This May Concern:
I am the City Attorney for Yates Center, Kansas. I have attached to this email the proper form to be completed for your Kansas Open Records Act request of the City of Yates Center. I attempted to call the number in your email to gather more information regarding your request, however, no one answered.
Once we have determined exactly what you are asking for, we will provide you with the cost associated with your request. I will, however, inform you that your request may be based on some misinformation in that we have no "potential of a privately-operated prison within the jurisdiction" of our city or county for that matter. Nor are we aware of any such potential. This has left us unsure as to why you are requesting such information.
As stated above, please fill out the attached form so that we may know what you are seeking. Thank you.

We have reviewed your emails concerning your request for "any and all
materials regarding or referencing the potential of a privately-operated
prison within the jurisdiction of this agency." We sent you our Open Record
Request Form, which essentially asked for the same information by
referencing back to your past email requests.
We have no documents to provide because there is no potential for a
privately-operated prison within our jurisdiction at this time. Thank you.
