Wisconsin Open Records Law Request

Dear custodian of records:

Under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., I am requesting an opportunity to obtain copies of public records of all email correspondence and attachments of former Commissioner Ellen Nowak sent to/from Edison Electric Institute, American Gas Association, Emerging Issues Policy Forum.

The staff at the Edison Electric Institute are associated with the email domain name, @eei.org.
The staff at the American Gas Association are associated with the email domain name, @aga.org.
The staff at the Emerging Issues Policy Forum are associated with the email domain name, @emergingissuespolicyforum.org.

The timeframe of this public records request is between January 1, 2017 and March 4, 2018.

I would like to request a waiver of all fees in that the disclosure of the requested information is in the public interest and will contribute significantly to the public’s understanding of the PSC. This information is not being sought for commercial purposes.

However, if I am denied the fee waiver please inform me of the cost. I understand if the requested record already exists in an electronic format and electronic copies are provided, costs will not be charged on a per-page basis, but if the record is not in readily comprehensible form, the PSC may charge the actual costs of creating a readily comprehensible copy. If mailing is required, I understand that I will be charged for the actual cost of mailing. And I understand that I will be asked to prepay for the request.
