I wanted to follow up on the following Wisconsin Open Records Act request, copied below, and originally submitted on Feb. 21, 2019. Please let me know when I can expect to receive a response.

Ms. Brooks:
Thank you for the follow-up. records requests. Your request has been received, and my apologies if I did not acknowledge it previously. A response will be provided as soon as practicable and without delay. Section 19.35(3)(f) allows the Office of the Governor to require prepayment for these costs if the total amount exceeds $5.00. An estimate will be sent and if pre-payment is required, no action will be taken until payment is remitted. If, upon completing the response to this request, it is determined the estimated amount is insufficient to cover the actual costs of copying, mailing, and/or locating the requested records, you will be asked to pay the remainder before they are sent to you.
If your request for records is denied, you will receive a letter with the rationale. Pursuant to Section 19.35(4)(b) of the Wisconsin Statutes, the Office of the Governor's decision to deny your request is subject to review by mandamus under Section 19.37(1) of the Wisconsin Statutes, or upon application to the attorney general or to your local district attorney.
In the meantime, please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have.

To whom it may concern:
The records request below has been received. A response will be provided as soon as practicable and without delay. My apologies for the delay in acknowledgment - it appears that some requests were incorrectly being routed to an account I was unaware of. The problem has since been rectified.
In accordance to Section 19.35(3) of the Wisconsin Statutes, the Office of the Governor can charge for the costs of copying, mailing, and/or locating the records due to open records requests.
My apologies for the delay in acknowledgment - it appears that some requests were incorrectly being routed to an account I was unaware of.
If you no longer wish to pursue this request, please advise as soon as possible.
