Pursuant to Wisconsin's Open Records act, I hereby request the following records:
- A full copy of any and all contracts and written agreements between the University of Wisconsin and Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates.
- Any and all reports, memoranda, or other documents produced for the University of Wisconsin by Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates.
- And and all email correspondence or other communications between representatives of the University of Wisconsin and Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates containing the terms "chancellor" and/or "Rebecca Blank."
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I would request your response within ten (10) business days.

Hello,
Your public records request to the University of Wisconsin was just sent to me. You had sent it to the communications office at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and, unfortunately, no one there recognized it for what it was until today.
I am the records custodian for the University of Wisconsin System Administration (we handle the hiring for the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System). We are a large public system with 13 chancellors of 13 separate institutions across the state. You have requested the following:
- A full copy of any and all contracts and written agreements between the University of Wisconsin and Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates.
- Any and all reports, memoranda, or other documents produced for the University of Wisconsin by Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates.
- And and all email correspondence or other communications between representatives of the University of Wisconsin and Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates containing the terms "chancellor" and/or "Rebecca Blank."
You wish this request to extend from January 1, 2010 to the present.
Are you seeking items only related to UW-Madison hire (e.g. the Rebecca Blank hire) or do you have a broader interest? Please let me know.
Also, please be advised that most email at UWSA is only saved for six months. We do charge for any search of email our necessary costs as permitted by our state public records law. We never waive these costs and we will require payment in advance. Also, we are extremely short staffed in our IT department so an email search could take a long time as would the legal review to redact any information that we are not permitted by law to release. If you are interested in our performing an email search please let me know and I will provide you with a cost estimate and time line.
