Mr. Waltman:

I have just been forwarded your latest email to Winston-Salem's CityLink regarding a request for records as to "IMSI Catchers." Please see below the response I provided to you on December 16, 2016 (at the email address previously provided in connection with this request: requests@muckrock.com), which response was sent after leaving you a voicemail message in response to your call to me. If there is anything further as to your request, please call me again directly at 336-773-7764.

Thanks.

Lori

To Curtis Waltman:

I just called to return your voicemail message from last week when I was out of town, but reached your voicemail.

In your message to me, you stated that you had been provided information that the Winston-Salem police department does not have the "Stingray" equipment in question, and therefore does not have materials to produce in response to requests from you and also from Brandon Smith as to this equipment, but that you wished to confirm this information with me. The information you were provided is correct: the Winston-Salem Police Department does not own or possess such equipment and does not have documents that are responsive to your requests. I hope this is now a sufficient response, but please feel free to contact me directly with any further questions or any further requests for information.

Thank you!

Lori
