Pursuant to the Vermont Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Information regarding Winooski PD's use of automated license plate readers (ALPR), including:
- Invoices, contracts, or agreements (including nondisclosure agreements) with ALPR technology vendors
- Policies or procedures regarding the use of ALPR technology
- Technical documentation and/or training materials for any ALPR system in use by Winooski PD
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

On July 18, I filed a public records request regarding WPD's Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) system. I have not received an acknowledgement or response. Please let me know when I can expect to receive a response, or if further clarification is needed.

Hi there,
I just spoke w/ someone on the phone (sorry, I didn't get your name) who is expecting this fax. It's a follow-up on a public records request I made a few weeks ago, which should be attached below.
I'd like to make one change to the original request, however: if for any reason Winooski has disabled it ALPR system, please let me know, and I'd be happy to limit the scope of my request to avoid creating undue work for the department.
