Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
1.) A copy of the the Mill Middle School homework assignment asking students to translate sentences that included the phrases "Mexican and ugly" and "pretty and American" into Spanish,
2.) Any and all social media posts by the Williamsville Central School District regarding the Mill Middle School homework assignment asking students to translate sentences that included the phrases "Mexican and ugly" and "pretty and American" into Spanish
3.) Any and all social media posts by the Williamsville Central School District on January 11, 2022
The aforementioned homework assignment was coverered in the media in the link below and is in the greater public's interest:
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
