Pursuant to the Kansas Open Records Act (K.S.A. 45-215), I hereby request the following records:

Amendments, Bid Tabulations, and Award documents from the current fuel contract

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

You may find the information you are wanting on our Vendor Services web site, https://ep.wichita.gov . This information is free and available to the public.

Go to Document Inquiry in the top Green bar.
All contracts are listed here. The City has a contract for small tank loads (less than 7000 gallons). You will be able to look search the contracts. Vendor information, date of contract, and pricing is all available.

The City does not have a contract for full transport loads (7500 gallons for diesel, and 8000 gallons for gas). Full transport loads are purchased off the market price. The City has 6 vendors that provide quotes off the market price. The City awards to the lowest quote.
