Respectfully, that is incorrect. I have submitted two different requests this week; the previous request was from November 2017. The first request from this week specified that I am seeking Medicaid claims for treatment of Dissociative Identity Disorder. Because this is being interpreted by your office as the creation of a new record, I broadened my request to all Medicaid claims (not just those for treatment of Dissociative Identity Disorder).

I know that your office has the information that I am seeking. I have filed identical requests in all 50 states. This is the first time I have received a response arguing that my request for services provided to individuals with a diagnosis of Dissociative Identity Disorder would constitute the creation of a new record. You undoubtedly are already in possession of a database of Medicaid claims, so I am requesting the whole thing. Since you apparently do not wish to query the database, I'll be happy to spend the few minutes it takes to do it myself.

Thank you,
Evan
