January 6th Investigations (West Virginia State Police)

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the West Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

- All emails or any other form of written communication regarding protest, marches, parades or other large public gatherings between Friday, January 1, 2021 and Sunday, January 31, 2021.

- All emails or any other form of written communication, planning, preparation and execution documents generated regarding your agency’s awareness and involvement in the Wednesday, January 6, 2021 attack at the United States Capitol.

- All emails or any other form of written communication, planning, preparation, and execution documents generated regarding your agency's role in the arrest of former West Virginia Delegate Derrick Evans.

- All emails or any other form of written communication, planning, preparation, and execution documents generated regarding your agency's role in any arrests within the state of West Virginia related to the January 6, 2021 attack on the United States Capitol.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. I am a member of the news media as an investigative reporter for 100 Days in Appalachia.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
