From: Crystal Faler

First and foremost we are a community of Love and Tolerance, Pride and
Peace. We do not welcome any hate groups or radicals.

We are not about control or destruction. History is very important to us
and we want to be able to pass all history both the good and the bad
down to our children.

General Jo Shelby was not only a confederate General and war veteran, he
was a member of our community. Our community has made it clear that we
will stand together with a unified response regarding Shelby Park. We
honor all our war veterans including all those that are remembered at
our Memorial Park who fought in WWI and Korea. We feel all of our
veterans, regardless of uniform worn or war fought in, deserve to be
remembered not only by our current community but by generations to come.
