Mr. MacDonald, I'm still not clear on what you are looking for:

Daily Log reports
Arrest Log reports
Accident reports
Incident reports
Arrest reports

We do not custom make spreadsheets for information request.

I suggest you call me so I can better understand what you are looking for.

Hi Captain Rocca,

You mention the following reports:

* Daily Log reports
* Arrest Log reports
* Accident reports
* Incident reports
* Arrest reports

What I'd like to do is see the detailed line item information in those logs that comprises the summary statistic information provided on the Watertown Police Department website.

The summary information is found here on the WPD website: http://www.watertownpd.org/statistics/stats.html

What I'd like to be able to do is see the detail line item information for each of those reports so that the numbers match up to the totals presented on the website.

For example:

* In 2010 the WPD website states there were 172 Assaults.
I would expect that in the Incident or Arrest Log Reports to see 172 individual line items / rows that would be of type Assault.

* In 2010 the WPD website states that there were 8,224 moving violations.
The Incident report log or the daily log would have 8,224 individual line items / rows that would be of type Moving Violation.

* In 2010 the WPD website states that there were 23,944 total calls for service
I would expect to see in the rows/records for each of those 23,944 calls in the 5 logs mentioned above.

For each of those line items/records I would expect that the WPD collects information about the day, time, street location and officer(s) for that event/call.

I'm asking that the WPD provide an Excel spreadsheet format of those logs.

While I would be happy to talk on the phone about the data I'm looking for I would also like to continue the information request using the MuckRock tool so that all communication takes place publicly.

Thanks,
Matt
