Pursuant to the Nevada Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

I am requesting public records related to air pollution in Reno, Nevada. Specifically, I am interested in obtaining any available data or reports related to air quality monitoring in the city of Reno over the past five years (2018-2020). I am interested

in any violations of federal or state air quality standards in the Reno area, including enforcement actions taken by the Environmental Protection Agency or the Nevada Department of Environmental Protection.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

In reviewing the public records request received by Washoe 311, the Washoe County Air Quality Management Division (AQMD) was interested in receiving more information from you regarding the specifics of your request. The specifics of the request will help AQMD better understand the time it will take to fulfill the request and give you an accurate assessment of when you will receive the fulfilled request. Please note that if fulfillment of the request is to exceed 2 hours, there may be a fee associated with the request. You will be notified of any expected costs prior to the fulfillment of the request.

* Firstly, you requested to receive the past 5 years of available data or reports related to air quality monitoring in the city of Reno.
* Do you have any specific data or reports that you are interested in receiving? AQMD continuously gathers air quality monitoring data across seven locations throughout Washoe County. Refer to our website<https://www.washoecounty.gov/health/programs-and-services/air-quality/air-quality-reports-and-data.php> to determine if these reports may satisfy your request. If you are more interested in raw data, please note that this can be found online here<https://www.epa.gov/outdoor-air-quality-data>.
* Secondly, you requested any violations of federal or state air quality standards in the Reno area and any associated enforcement actions taken by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) or the Nevada Department of Environmental Protection (NDEP).
* Please note that any specific enforcement action taken by the EPA or the NDEP should be requested by those respective agencies as AQMD does not hold those records.
* Are you looking for this to also be in the past 5 years, similar to the first request?
* What specifically do you mean by associated enforcement actions?

Good Morning Mr. Ledezma,

I wanted to follow up on my previous e-mail in the event that you may have any further questions or concerns. Based on our understanding of the request and without clarification on the questions asked in my previous e-mail, this request may take up to 6 months to fulfill. With clarification of your request, AQMD will better be able to provide you with a cost estimate for the request.

Please note that these responses satisfy the requirements specified in the Nevada Revised Statutes in regards to Public Records Requests.
