To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to RCW Ch. 42.56 (Public Records Act), I hereby request the following records:
Contracts and technical documents concerning wireless communication systems used in the University Link tunnel, including, but not limited to, systems that will provide cell signal to riders' phones.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
Per RCW 42.56.520, an acknowledgement of my request was due by January 8, containing, at a minimum, an estimated response date. It is now January 11. Could you please acknowledge receipt, and provide such a date?
This will acknowledge receipt of your request for contracts and technical documents concerning wireless communication systems used in the University Link tunnel, including, but not limited to, systems that will provide cell signal to riders' phones.
We received your request on January 4, 2016.
Given our staffs' workload and the number of requests we are currently handling, we estimate that it will take another 1-2 weeks to identify and gather responsive records. We will contact you once we have completed our search.
