Pursuant to the Washington Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
All internal or external communication, sent or received since Feb 20, 2019, concerning an outage or unavailability of records search software used by Sound Transit.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Kevin Wallace

I have learned that a Sound Transit attorney finds this request personally offensive, despite the fact that it does not name any Sound Transit employee. My intention with this request was not to hurt anyone’s feelings, but to make publicly examinable documents about the reliability of Sound Transit’s records search software. Although I believe the public has an interest in the records, in the interest of peace, I am withdrawing the request.
