This will acknowledge receipt of your request for the original audio recordings of all messages and/or sounds played on Link trains/platforms, including, but not limited to, those messages listed in the documents responsive to Sound Transit public records request PD16-129.
We received your request on April 5, 2016.
We have identified and gathered 208 MB of audio messages for link station announcements and 24.2 MB of audio messages for light rail trains. These records are in the native.wav format.
The responsive documents are too large to email. Please send $7.50 to cover copy and mail charges. Make your check payable to Sound Transit, 401 South Jackson, Seattle, WA 98104 and reference PD16-164 on your check. Once we receive payment we will copy the files to a DVD and mail it to you. If you would rather review the records here at Sound Transit, please contact me to schedule an appointment.
If we do not receive payment or hear from you by May 11, 2016, we will conclude you no longer want access to the records and will close your request file.
Sincerely,
Q'Deene Nagasawa
