To Whom It May Concern:

One or more people who appeared to be transit agency staff but did not identify themselves investigated most or all riders on car 101A of the northbound Sounder passenger train from Lakewood to Seattle at approximately 7:55 a.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2016.

Staff regularly photograph and make written notes about some passengers during their investigations. Pursuant to RCW Ch. 42.56 (Public Records Act), I hereby request the content of those notebooks and cameras used by staff who worked the aforementioned car on the aforementioned date, as well as any reports filed by them on that date and/or in regard to their work duties on that date. Please prevent staff from destroying these records prior to your making them available to me, and please note that I am submitting this request to you within minutes of those records' creation.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Phil Mocek

You are communicating with me through an automated system that creates a special-purpose e-mail address for each request, then automatically files correspondence from you with the appropriate request. Thus, when you reply regarding multiple requests to a single e-mail address at muckrock.com, you are using the wrong address for most portions of your reply.

For each request you receive from me, please use the e-mail address I provided when corresponding regarding that request.
