From: Edgardo Rodriguez
To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to RCW Ch. 42.56 (Public Records Act), I hereby request the following records:
All documents, including phone call records, related to investigation by FBI, or NSI, and any other Federal Agency associated with my name.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Edgardo Rodriguez

Mr. Rodriguez-
I am writing to acknowledge receipt of your request filed under Washington's Public Records Act (Ch. 42.56 RCW). Due to the breadth of your request and a current backlog of requests at our office, I anticipate that it will take roughly 6-8 weeks to collect, review, and disclose any responsive documents we may have.
Thank you.

Mr. Rodriguez—
Thank you for your message. Here is an update regarding the request you filed with our office under the Public Records Act (Ch. 42.56 RCW).
Our Legal Department sent an email to all of the Governor’s Office staff, with your request attached to it; and, none of the staff responded stating that they had any responsive materials. I also ran a search of all stored emails that were sent or received during the Inslee Administration through the date of your request, and I found no documents that included your name in the context of any federal agency or investigation.
Accordingly, the Governor’s Office has no responsive documents to disclose to you. Our office will now close your request.
Thank you.

This is to respectfully Appeal your response of no documents found on investigation by a federal government . The search should include existing documents from immediate previous Governor.

This is to respectfully appeal your response of "no documents" responsive to my request regarding investigations by the federal government. The search should include existing documents from the administration of the governor prior to Governor Inslee, Governor Christine Gregoire.

Mr. Rodriguez—
I’m writing to acknowledge receipt of your request.
As I understand it, you are filing a new request that broadens the scope of your earlier request to include any documents created or received by the Governor’s Office and maintained during the Gregoire Administration. In completing your last request, we searched only for documents maintained by the Inslee Administration. Please allow our office 2-3 weeks to perform this search and respond.
Thank you.

Mr. Rodriguez—
You filed a PRA request with our office on October 20, 2014. You sought documents relating to a federal investigation associated with your name. On November 20, 2014, I emailed you to let you know that a search of our office’s files yielded no responsive documents; and a search of the Inslee administration archived email vault also yielded no responsive materials.
On January 13, 2015 you asked our office to expand the scope of your original request to include documents that dated to the Gregoire administration. We again searched the archived email vault, including the years 2005-2013, for messages that mentioned your name in the context of a federal agency investigation. Again, we located no results.
For non-email documents that date to the Gregoire administration, I suggest that you visit the WA State Archives (http://www.sos.wa.gov/archives/), where Gregoire administration documents are now stored.
With this email, our office will now close your request. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
Thank you.
