From: Jacob Appelbaum

Dear Gretchen Dolan,

Thank you for your timely reply, it is much appreciated!

Regarding the unclear portion of my request, I would ideally like all records from the date of production (1999) of the aircraft as kept by the Washington State Patrol. Alternatively, the acquisition date by the Washington State Patrol of the aircraft. In either case, I would like those historical records, and all contemporary records up to the present date. If historical records are a burden, I'm also satisfied with contemporary records covering the last five years until the present date, and I would be willing to make a separate historical request. I hope that helps to clarify the dates, and I'm eager to hear if I should file a separate historical request.

Thank you for your time today!

Sincerely,
Jacob Appelbaum

Dear Gretchen Dolan,

Thank you for the responsive documents. In the flight sheets released today, I see that video surveillance for the flights was captured. In my original request, I has asked for this data. Is a representative sample of the video footage available? I don't need six and a half hours of video, though I wouldn't object to more rather than less video footage. Additionally, I had requested the maintenance records which show the current equipment as installed on the aircraft. It is my understanding that these are a kind of mandatory records per the FAA rules - are those records available?

Thank you again for your time, I'm really looking forward to reading the Aviation Section Manual and I appreciate that you've released it to me.

Sincerely,
Jacob Appelbaum
