Pursuant to RCW Ch. 42.56 (Public Records Act), I hereby request the following records:
All closed investigations initiated by Washington Department of Health in 2011 that mention medical cannabis or medical marijuana.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
If my request is denied in whole or part, I ask that you justify all deletions by reference to specific exemptions of the PRA. I request that any deletions be "blacked out" rather than "whited out". I will also expect you to release all segregable portions of otherwise exempt material.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Dear Cannabis Defense Coalition:
We received your public records request for "All closed investigations
initiated by Washington Department of Health in 2011 that mention
medical cannabis or medical marijuana" on 03/26/2012.

that may not be releasable by statute, and then provide records
responsive to your request by 06/20/2012.

$.15 per page for copies exceeding fifty (50) pages.
* Personal inspection. You may review them at out Tumwater
office. There is no charge for reviewing documents; however, an
appointment is necessary.
