Pursuant to RCW Ch. 42.56 (Public Records Act), I hereby request the following records:
Written and electronic communications (including but not limited to: letters, email, memos, position statements, meeting agendas and meeting minutes) regarding the Discover Pass public lands user fee.
I also request that, if possible, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest and not made for commercial gain. The requested documents will be processed by a representative of the news media/press and made available to the public at MuckRock.com. Please fulfill the request electronically, by e-mail attachment if possible or CD-ROM if not, and let me know of any fees that will be assessed.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

This email is both to acknowledge that we have received your public
records request and to make sure that I understand the parameters of the
records that you are looking for so that, 1) I do not overload you with

Are you only looking for records related to the Discover Pass for the
time period of conception to enactment of the Second Substitute Bill
5622 (Washington State Legislature)? Are you looking for Discover pass
implementation records after the bill was enacted? Are you only looking
for records related to the "user fees"?

final installment on or before December 2nd.
