To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the District of Columbia Freedom of Information Act of 1974, D.C. Code Ann. § 2-531 et seq. ("D.C. Act"), I hereby request the following records:

Copies of every final decision issued by the Office of the General Counsel to the Mayor in response to individuals who filed an administrative appeal with the Mayor of the District of Columbia concerning request(s) filed under the District of Columbia Freedom of Information Act with any agency governed by the Act. Please limit this request to cases where the appeal was successful (that is, when the final decision overturned part or all of the agency’s initial response to the DC FOIA request). Please limit this request to final decisions issued between January 1, 2014 and November 15, 2015.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 15 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

J.K. Trotter

Hello, Mr. Trotter-

I am currently processing your request and would, first of all, like to direct you to the following link. A number of the appeals decisions that you are requesting, largely for the year 2015, can be found there. You will see on the website that you can search and sort by date. I am in the process of compiling the remaining decisions from the dates of your request so that I can send them along to you as well. Please be advised that these additional files are in PDF format and therefore I may need to send them in more than one email.
