Pursuant to the DC Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
A Bloomberg report states that Troy Clair, former chief of staff for Representative G.K. Butterfield of North Carolina, was hired by Amazon (https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/2019-amazon-lobbying/?utm) Therefore, I hereby request the following records:
- All emails between Troy Clair and staff from the office of Representative G.K. Butterfield (including Representative G.K. Butterfield) between November 25, 2018 and the time that this request is processed. Please include emails where one or both parties are copied or blind copied.
- All Google calendar invitations between November 25, 2018 and the time that this request is processed in which Troy Clair and staff from the office of Representative G.K. Butterfield (or Representative G.K. Butterfield) are either hosting the event, or invited to the event.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. It will be used in the course of reporting for Motherboard, VICE’s science and technology website (www.motherboard.vice.com).
