Pursuant to the DC Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
For the occurrences of the Pride Parade in this jurisdiction for the years 1981-2018:
-Any and all permits issued for the day(s) of the Pride Parade. For each permit, I would like logistical information including the event's name, location, date, and time, and the name of the applicant organization, in addition to any other relevant logistical information.
-Any communications to, from, or copied to city employees regarding the Pride Parade
-Any visual content (i.e. maps, images, graphs, etc.) related to the Pride Parade
-Any budgets/spending reports detailing funding allocations and expenses for the Pride Parade
-Any and all data or incident reports on Police presence and police activity at the Pride Parade
-Any and all complaints about the Pride Parade
-Any and all data on public transport ridership on the day(s) of the Pride Parade.
Please provide materials on a rolling basis, as they become available.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Dear Ms. Komatsoulis, This office isin receipt of your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. Your assigned FOIA requestnumber is: 2018-FOIA-05885. Your assigned FOIA Specialist is Lisa Archie-Mills. Pursuant to D.C. Official Code § 2-532, wehave fifteen (15) business-days, subject to the possibility of a ten (10)business-day extension, to respond to the request as of the date ofreceipt. More specifically, D.C. Official Code § 2-532(c) and (d) state: (c) A public body, upon requestreasonably describing any public record, shall within 15 days (exceptSaturdays, Sundays, and legal public holidays) of the receipt of any suchrequest either make the requested public record accessible or notify the personmaking such request of its determination not to make the requested publicrecord or any part thereof accessible and the reasons therefor (d) In unusual circumstances, the timelimit prescribed in subsection (c) of this section may be extended by writtennotice to the person making such request setting forth the reasons forextension and expected date for determination. Such extension shall not exceed10 days (except Saturdays, Sundays, and legal public holidays). For purposes ofthis subsection, and only to the extent necessary for processing of theparticular request, "unusual circumstances" are limited to: (1) The need to search for,collect, and appropriately examine a voluminous amount of separate and distinctrecords which are demanded in a single request; or (2) The need for consultation,which shall be conducted with all practicable speed, with another public bodyhaving a substantial interest in the determination of the request or among 2 ormore components of a public body having substantial subject-matter interesttherein.
