Dear Sam,

Thank you for submitting the request herein. However, there are a few issues with the request.

First, the Office of Science and Technology Policy (henceforth "OSTP") is a Federal agency. Therefore, the D.C FOIA statute is not applicable in this case.

Second, the response time is not 15 business days, but 20 business days.

Last, we need to ascertain that the request is for OSTP, not the Government of the District of Columbia. Additionally, the matter has to be one where OSTP is involved. Furthermore, OSTP is not the White House Office, even though it is a component of the Executive Office of the President. The White House Office is a different component of the Executive Office of the President. So, does this matter involve actions taken by OSTP?
Regards,

OSTP FOIA
