APRA procedures (Warren Town Clerk)

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Rhode Island Access to Public Records Act ("APRA"), I hereby request the following records:

Written procedures for access to the agency’s public records, including any records request forms required or suggested by the agency

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Thank you for your help in this request. Please do let me know if I may clarify the request for the APRA procedures that are utilized by the Town of Warren.

I am also wondering if a similar but separate request that was submitted to the Warren Finance Department may have been forwarded to you, as I have not yet received acknowledgement of that request.

Understood. Can you confirm, though, whether the Finance Department forwarded this request to your office? To date I have yet to receive any response on the request sent directly to Finance, and I am trying to ascertain whether it was received.
