From: Tom Nash

Hi Franchelle,

Sorry, I missed the part that said I had to respond. I'm hoping that doesn't mean this hasn't been worked on? Not sure what response was expected.

Thanks

Tom

From: Tom Nash

Good afternoon,

I sent this request back in January and I'm curious what the issue is in responding. I'm not sure why me confirming that I've been told there would be a processing delay was necessary to continue the request? And it has now been a week since I asked what the delay in processing was.

Thanks!

Tom

From: Virginia Department of Elections

Mr. Nash,

Thank you for your follow up to your request for records. We do not have
records that show historic polling locations. However, in 2016 and 2018,
we participated with a Voter Information Project which captured this
information in XML format. Over the past week we were able to obtain and
confirm that the available data on this page:
https://www.elections.virginia.gov/batch/ shows historical polling
locations. In this XML set, we have 2016 and 2018 available. We only
started using the VIP tool in 2016 and are no longer using this tool now,
so to confirm, we do not have records responsive to your requests for
earlier elections or this data for elections since 2018.

As for your request for the 2019 polling places in a different format,
please see our publicly available in xls format here:
https://www.elections.virginia.gov/resultsreports/registration-statistics/.

Thank you,
