Virginia DOC geriatric prison numbers

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

All reports or memoranda detailing:
- the total number of prisoners over age 50, or whatever age DOC defines prisoners as senior/elder, held within the Virginia DOC system between 1995 and the time this request is processed.
- any projections for the total number of geriatric/elder prisoners during the next 10 years

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
