Pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

• All policies related to the employment and payment of incarcerated persons under the jurisdiction of this agency.

• The most recent report regarding currently-employed incarcerated persons under the jurisdiction of this agency. Please include all available segregable information, including the type of employment, the wage at which the employment occurs, and any other applicable information. Please do not include any personally identifying information.

• All reports regarding post-incarceration employment for individuals formally under the jurisdiction of this agency.

If no such reports exist and if reports with equivalent information also do not exist, confirmation of the fact that no data at all exists on this subject will suffice.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Good Morning:

Thank you for following up. Before responding to your inquiry, for
clarity's sake, I'd like to address the timeline of your Sept. 20th
request: Following receipt of your request, on Sept. 27th, 2018, you were
sent an email requesting your legal Virginia address.

The next day, we received an email from you requesting an update.
Thereafter, an email was sent to inform you that we would not be moving
forward with responding to your request until you provided your legal
Virginia address.

please see attached.

Regarding your request for "The most recent report regarding
currently-employed incarcerated persons under the jurisdiction of this
agency. Please include all available segregable information, including the
type of employment, the wage at which the employment occurs, and any other
applicable information. Please do not include any personally identifying
information," the department has a database, approximately 15 MB in
size, responsive to your request. However, pursuant to Section
2.2-3706(B)(4) of the Code of Virginia, it is exempt from mandatory
disclosure and will not be released to you. Thank you for contacting the
