Kurt Angle Arrest

Thank you for your correspondence to the Virginia Department of State
Police (the Department). As you may be aware, requests for records of the
Commonwealth, its agencies and political subdivisions are governed by
the *Virginia
Freedom of Information Act* (FOIA), §§ 2.2-3700 *et. seq.* of the *Code of
Virginia*.

Pursuant to Virginia Code § 2.2-3704(B)(3), the requested records for
dash/body cam footage, including audio, arrest records and/or incident
reports related to the September 4th, 2011 arrest of Kurt Steven Angle,
could not be found or do not exist in the Department's investigative
files. Please
be advised that the Department preserves records according to the Library
of Virginia retention schedule.

We regret we are unable to assist you further in this matter but hope the

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the
following records:

Dash cam footage (including audio ) and/or body- cam footage (including
audio) of the arrest of Kurt Steven Angle (DOB 12/9/68) who was charged
with Driving While Intoxicated on September 4th, 2011.

I am also requesting all written/typed material relating to this arrest,
including arrest records and/or incident reports.

As a member of the media and because I plan to release this information to
the public, free of charge, I ask that fee's be waived in this case.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and
this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform
me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer
the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or
CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I
look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business
days, as the statute requires.
