From: Harrington, Sean P

Mr. Nash,

The Virginia Freedom of Information Act gives Virginia citizens a right to access public records, but it grants no such right to non-Virginians.
Thus, VMI is declining response to your request at this time.

Ms. Lipton from within your organization requested this same information a few weeks ago as well. I provided her with the same response above. However, I believe she had someone from Virginia Tech request this information on her behalf, so she may have the information already.

Please give me a call if you wish to discuss further … I hope all is well.

v/r, Lt Col Sean Harrington

Mr. Nash … my apologies for the previous email. I did not read closely enough where you mentioned you were a citizen from Virginia. Enclosed is the material which you requested through the Virginia Freedom of Information Act via e-mail on 9 November 2016 in its entirety. I have waived any fees associated with this request. Please let me know if you need any additional information.

Again, my apologies … Lt Col Harrington
