Pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Any and all information related to Tresses Hair and Nail Salon located at 3106 Peters Creek Rd, Roanoke, VA 24019 as a stakeholder in within the Virginia Fusion Network.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Thank you for your correspondence to the Virginia Department of State Police (the Department).  As you may be aware, requests for records of the Commonwealth, its agencies and political subdivisions are governed by the Virginia Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), §§ 2.2-3700 et. seq. of the Code of Virginia. 

 

Pursuant to § 2.2-3704 of the Code of Virginia “all public records shall be open to inspection and copying by any citizens of the Commonwealth” except as otherwise specifically provided by law.   The materials you are requesting constitute records relative to criminal intelligence or any terrorism investigation and are governed by specific statutory authority and are excluded from the provisions of FOIA pursuant to § 52-48.  A request for records of this type would be declined on the cited grounds.
