Hi Ryan,

I'm looking for any list or log you maintain of all the FOIA requests DOC receives -- which is usually a standard practice for agencies of this size. So that usually means a description of what the request was, who asked for it, when they asked for it, the reply date, and the final determination.

You can limit this request to a timeline between Jan. 1, 2018 and whenever you finalize this request.

Thanks
Tom

Good Afternoon:

Thank you for the clarification. We have a log responsive to your request;
however, because it contains personnel information, offender information,
etc. much may need to be redacted. Accordingly, some time will need to be
spent preparing the document for disclosure. I am out of the office all
next week. Because the doc you have requested exists on a shared drive, I
believe it is only accessible on the network. If this is not the case, I
may be able to provide a response within the 5-day timeline. If not,
however, I will need to take the additional 7 days making the final
response date Nov. 20. Thanks

Good Afternoon:

In response to your request for "any list or log you maintain of all the
FOIA requests DOC receives," please see attached. For clarity's sake, the
log is not a record of all the FOIA requests received by the Department;
the log is a working document of responses sent only by the legal issues
coordinator. It does not record all responses sent by other custodians
within the department or those managed, but not sent, by the legal issues
coordinator. Offender names and ID numbers are redacted in accordance with
Section 2.2-3706(B)(4). Please let me know if you have any questions in
regards. Thank you for contacting the Virginia Department of Corrections.
