All available lists of lawsuits in which the Vermont Department of Corrections or an entity operating on its behalf was/is a party from January 1, 2000 through the date this request is processed.

This request is being made as part of a journalistic investigation. The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

a. The Department of Corrections does not keep lists of lawsuits in which the VTDOC or an entity operating on its behalf was/is a party. All lawsuits are against the Department of Corrections are handled by the Attorney General Office. I certify that the records request do not exist under the name given or by any other name known to the Department.
