To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Vermont public records law (1 V.S.A. §§ 315-320), I hereby request the following records:
All currently enforced management contracts between the state and private companies as well as the Requests for Proposal from the management companies
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
The Department received the following public records request and it was forwarded to me for response. The Department needs further clarification of your request in order to respond. Please clarify "management contracts between private companies and the state". For example, you sent this request to the Division of State Parks, are you interested in any potential contracts with private entities related to the management of state parks? I would be happy to discuss this with you over the phone if that would be preferable. Please send a phone number where I may contact you or call me at (802) 828-1534. Alternatively, please send an email with further clarification of your request, specifying what types of documents you are requesting.
