Pursuant to the Vermont public records law (1 V.S.A. §§ 315-320), I hereby request the following records:
Correspondence between Agriculture officials and staffers of the Vermont Congressional delegation (Leahy, Welch, Sanders) regarding the trade partnership between Vermont and Cuba established in 2004
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

This request will require the Agency to review its records from 2004 and we will need to invoke the unusual circumstances provisions under 3 V.S.A. §318 (a) (5) because the records might be in storage or might not be in existence. Once the availability is determined, we will provide the available information to you electronically. We will provide the information if available by June 18, 2014 by 4:00 p.m. EST. At this point, there is no estimate of the cost for these public records. Once a review for the existence of the information is complete, we will have further details on the cost to provide the information to you.
