Please produce a current inventory of what has been received in inventory from federal grants. Does the sheriff's do a yearly inventory on equipment received?

I am looking for a list of equipment in your accounting records relative to military grants. Do you have a current inventory list of equipment? That would cover my request since it would include all inventory of military grade equipment.

Please let me know if you have a current inventory list which will reflect all equipment the Ventura County Sheriffs own. This should include but is not limited to software, computers, vehicles, weapons, safety equipment, etc.

The Ventura Police have already provided in a very timely manner this exact request without any push back. I'm curious as to why the Ventura County Sheriffs does not provide such service?

Mr. Morris,

I seek clarification regarding your request. Perhaps there are four separate components of the request?

· A list of equipment in your accounting records relative to military grants.

· A current inventory list of equipment.

· A list of inventory of military grade equipment.

· A current inventory list which will reflect all equipment the Ventura County Sheriffs own. This should include but is not limited to software, computers, vehicles, weapons, safety equipment, etc.

This is not push back, just clarification so your request can be forwarded to the appropriate unit(s).

Respectfully,
