Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
I am looking for records related to the investigation by the Ventura County Sheriff's department into the murder of Robert Edwin Ermey (SSN: 536-16-4024).
The investigation began on 2/5/1975 when Robert Ermey's body was found in Ojai, CA - Highway 33 - 5 miles north of Wheeler Springs.
The officers involved in the investigation were: Larry Weimar and Martin McCoy for the Ventura County Sheriff's dept, and Braden McKinley for the Ventura County District Attorney's office.
I am seeking any and all police reports, investigative notes, evidence photographs, evidentiary documents, audio recordings or transcripts of interviews, and any and all information in the case file.

Good Morning. Pursuant to your request, I searched for any reports or documents in our possession related to the murder of Robert Edwin Ernmey on 2/5/1975. I was not able to locate any reports from the originating agency or our office in our possession except for a report from the Ventura Sheriff’s Department indicating that the case would be handled by federal authorities. I have attached that report to this email.
