Vallejo police response to shooting of Ronell Foster

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the California Public Records Act and the Vallejo Sunshine Ordinance (Ord. 1426 N.C.(2d) § 1 (part), 1999.), I hereby request the following records:

- Any emails, text messages, Apple iMessages, encrypted app messages, or other communications mentioning the words “discharge”, “media”, “news”, “officer”, “shooting” "shot", “weapon”, or “Ronell Foster” sent or received by the Vallejo PD on February 13-16, 2019.
- Disciplinary records for Vallejo PD Officer Ryan McMahon.
- Training records for Vallejo PD Officer Ryan McMahon.
- Current duty status for Vallejo PD Officer Ryan McMahon.
- The incident report and any after-action reports for the officer-involved shooting on February 13, 2019.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
