Val Verde County (TX) contracts/MOUs re: Val Verde Correctional Facility

Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act , I hereby request the following records:

All contracts (and their amendments), memorandums of understanding, and associated materials entered into by Val Verde County, Texas for services and activities related to the Val Verde Correctional Facility [http://www.geogroup.com/maps/locationdetails/33]. Responsive materials include, but are not limited to, the following materials:

- original Invitation to Negotiate, Request for Proposal, or other applicable call for bidder submissions
- all materials provided by the winning bidder
- the most recently applicable contracts
- all associated exhibits
- all amendments

Please consider responsive all materials created regarding this facility, regardless of creation date, including any sale/lease agreements, construction permits, and materials related to its acquisition, construction, and operation.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I'm interested in all materials, since the institution was created, though I realize that this may result in a lot of material and an unreasonable burden for you. Would you be able to provide me with a sense of what materials are available or the cost of providing them?
