Quanergy border trial

To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act on behalf of WIRED magazine. I seek records relating to Val Verde County Sheriff's Office work with Quanergy Systems, Inc, to test new sensor technology for border protection, as described in this New York Times article: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/18/technology/trump-border-wall-lidar.html.

I hereby request the following records, created on or after January 1, 2018:

1. All electronic communications, including attachments, between any representative of Val Verde County Sheriff's Office, and Quanergy Systems.

2. Agreements between Val Verde County Sheriff's Office and Quanergy, including but not limited to purchasing or procurement documents, licensing agreements, or contracts.

3. Training or policy materials that govern or describe the use of Quanergy's technology by Val Verde County Sheriff's Office.

This request is being made for news gathering purposes, and the requested documents will be made available to the general public.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
