Pursuant to the Colorado Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Please provide me with records of the police response to the shooting committed by Richard Allan Moreau at Sandbar Sports Grill on 11/7/2009. The records I am requesting include incident reports and discharged round reports.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Hello again Mr. Yoblan,
After reviewing your request further, we have estimated that a total of 3 hours will be needed to prepare this case report. The first hour will be at no charge, followed by $30 per hour for the remaining two. In addition, due to the file size, we will require placing the report onto a USB drive. This fee, as mentioned in my previous email, is $25, for a total of $85.00 to paid in full prior to it's release. Please make out the check to the Town of Vail, Attention Records.
Once, we received the required CCJRA form we will begin the process for preparing your report.
