Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Audio and/or transcripts or notes of 911 calls between 11:20 AM and 1:10 PM on May 24, 2022 to the Uvalde Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, or other law enforcement or dispatch center in the Uvalde area during the Robb Elementary School shooting.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. It will be used in the course of reporting for Motherboard, VICE Media's science and technology site. In the past few days we have run multiple articles about the Uvalde Shooting and police response to it. I am requesting these on a rolling basis as they can be reviewed for public release.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Jason Koebler
